BedFit Atlas operates this website. For privacy questions or corrections, email contact@bedfitatlas.com. Room measurements, bed-frame dimensions and furniture inputs stay in your browser. They are not added to analytics events or saved with your privacy choice.
Usage measurement is optional, and its starting point depends on your region. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it starts only after you allow it in Privacy settings; before permission no optional usage or performance requests are sent. Elsewhere, on published pages where measurement is enabled, it is on by default and the notice at the bottom of the page or Privacy settings lets you turn it off at any time. A choice you save is honoured in every region, and your browser's Global Privacy Control signal keeps optional measurement off everywhere. The region comes from the connection's country as seen by Cloudflare; when it is unknown, the site behaves as if your consent were required. While a page is in preview or measurement is switched off, no optional usage or performance requests are sent. A choice saved on this device is valid for up to 180 days; an expired choice is no longer permission to collect data, and the regional default applies again. The saved choice contains no room measurements. This validity period is separate from Google cookie and data-retention settings.
When measurement is active, whether by your permission or by the regional default, first-party measurement records limited actions, broad result categories, public page identifiers and performance measurements. It excludes room inputs, free text, full URL queries, IP addresses and browser user-agent strings from the usage tables. Daily event totals are scheduled for deletion after 13 months and performance totals after 90 days. Temporary event identifiers and duplicate-prevention records expire after 24 hours and are removed during scheduled cleanup and new writes.
The configured Google Analytics Measurement ID is G-NSFR6D9W3Z. After permission, or under the regional default described above, the site requests the Google tag at most once per page. Our analytics events use this site's page path without URL queries. They may also include the origin of an external referring website: its protocol and host. URLs with a non-default port are omitted. The event data does not include the referring page path, query string, fragment or chat-conversation URL, and never includes your room measurements. Only eligible external HTTP or HTTPS origins are used; credential-bearing URLs, IP/local/internal addresses and same-site references are excluded. Google can receive the connection's IP address and browser or device information and can use analytics cookies. The tag explicitly sets cookie expiry to 180 days with renewal on each visit disabled; this is a configuration setting, not a guarantee of the lifetime a browser will actually retain. Google processes information under its own service terms.
For this Google Analytics property, Enhanced Measurement, Google Signals and user-provided data collection are configured off. It has no Google Ads, AdSense, Display & Video 360 or Search Ads 360 account links. Google event-level retention is set to 14 months and user-level retention to 14 months. New activity resets the Google user-retention period, so it is not a fixed 14-month limit from a person’s first visit. These Google settings are separate from our first-party retention periods.
You can refuse, turn off or withdraw measurement in Privacy settings or from the notice. Withdrawal stops new optional events, cancels pending requests where possible and clears this site’s Google Analytics cookies. If the Google tag was loaded, the page reloads and unsaved room inputs are lost. Withdrawal does not recall events already received.
Aggregate backups may be stored as private GitHub Actions artifacts with a 30-day retention setting. An older backup may retain an aggregate for up to 30 additional days after it expires from the online database. Restoring a backup must reapply the current retention rules before the statistics are used. These backups exclude room measurements and temporary duplicate-prevention records.
Cloudflare delivers the website and processes the connection information needed to serve requests and protect the service. This is separate from optional analytics. If you email contact@bedfitatlas.com, Cloudflare Email Routing forwards the message to the publisher's receiving mailbox. Cloudflare and the mailbox provider process the sender details, message and routing information. Contact messages are handled separately from usage statistics and are not submitted as Google Analytics events. Official outgoing mail through Resend is not currently enabled; the site does not send automated email confirmations.
